The United States-Angola Chamber of Commerce is an independent, non-profit organization dedicated to the promotion of trade and investment between the United States and Angola.

The Chamber believes that Angola has the potential to be one of Africa's most prosperous countries. The Chamber's goal is to put the private sector at the forefront of Angola's development. Trade and investment create jobs and provide many other benefits to the citizens of both Angola and the United States.

The US-Angola Chamber of Commerce in association with the Corporate Council on Africa will be host an Angola Working Group meeting with Francisco Carneiro, Senior Country Economist for Angola at the World Bank.  Carneiro is the author of the comprehensive Country Economic Memorandum on Angola: Oil, Broad-Based Growth, and Equity published by the World Bank in October 2006.
