"Celebrating 15 Year of Service Gala Dinner"

Another highlight
of the 2006 year was the Gala Dinner celebrating the 15th
anniversary of the Chamber held at Casa 70 on December 2. About
180 guests attended, including the US Ambassador, Vice Minister
of Industry, President of the Angola Chamber of Commerce and
Industry. Chief of the National Police, and Chief of Mission for
Angola at the IMF. Six companies sponsored the Gala Dinner at
the Gold level – Baker Hughes, Barloworld, BFA, BP, Chevron, and
Esso Angola. Seven companies sponsored at the Silver level –
Afritrack, Goodworks International, Halliburton, MITC,
Mçonda M'Bonde, PricewaterhouseCoopers, Sonair,
and Tecnoserve. All sponsors received gifts of appreciation for
their special contribution to the Gala Dinner
presented by myself and my Deputy Director, Maria da Cruz.

Following the presentations and birthday cake cutting, Paulo
Flores, Patricia Faria, and Tito Paris entertained the guests.
The performance was extraordinary and was enthusiastically
received by the audience-prompting encores by the artists. It
was truly an evening to remember. |
